Modern Studies in Property Law Conference 2022

29-31st March 2022: St John’s College, Oxford and online

At the conference, property law scholars and practitioners from around the globe will come together to discuss all aspects of property, and related topics, in the common law tradition, including real property, personal property, and trusts. Keynote lectures will be delivered by The Rt Hon Lord Sales JSC, Professor Jeremy Waldron (NYU), and Professor Sarah Green (Commissioner for Commercial and Common Law, Law Commission). Equity: 150 Years After the Judicature Reforms

1-2 April 2022, St John’s College, Oxford and online

 

The conference marks the sesquicentennial of the principal Judicature legislation. However, its focus is on equity as it now stands rather than its historical development. The conference will take place at St John’s College, Oxford on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 April 2022. The speakers include leading private law scholars from across the common law world, as well as judges and practitioners well known in this field.
